It’s cold outside and we don’t even have any snow to show for it! The kids are home from school for another (several in the past few weeks) snow day with no snow. Time to mix up a few delicious mug cakes to enjoy with the family. This moist, tasty peanut butter and chocolate mug cake can be whipped together in under 5 minutes and everyone will love it!
Ingredients
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips
Directions
- In a small bowl mix together all of your dy ingredients. Make sure you mix completely. Add in your wet ingredients and mix together.
- Fill a microwave safe mug with mixture and add chocolate chips and peanut butter to the top. Microwave for 1 minute and allow to cool before enjoying!
What is your favorite winter desert to whip up? Have you made mug cakes before?

This looks amazing! When I start adding sweets back into my diet next week, I will try this out. I like that it will make a small cake so that I can’t keep going back for more. Portion control!
