Life with a toddler can be crazy. Everyday brings new adventures and in the past few months I have found a few things that truly make my life easier on a day to day basis. So have fun getting creative!
Step Stool: We’ve reached an age of independence. Toddlers like to wash their own hands, get an apple off the counter. A fold-able step stool that they can maneuver on their own comes in handy.
Book Nook: Toddlers love to have books read to them so make a fun book nook that they can sit in and read the many books you are destined to have accumulated by now.
Portable Potty: It’s officially time for potty training and you want to be ready where ever you go. A portable potty is great for car rides, places away from home and it’s easy to use.
Art Supplies: Let the little get creative and make color art work for you to hang all over your house! Crayola makes tons of great products that are washable and only work on special paper, limiting the coloring on walls incidents.
Noise Makers (aka instruments): Along with being creative, toddlers love to make some noise. Start a family band and hand out the instruments for an afternoon of music creation.
Wheels: We love our Strider Bike, Razor Scooter and Plasma Car for getting around the neighborhood or taking to the track while mom and dad workout.
Play tables- water/sand/sensory/train/chalk: Many of these can double for each other if you don’t mind cleaning sand out of it and getting it ready to fill with water. Great for kids to learn different textures, stay cool and have a blast playing inside and outside.
Organization! This is a must for any toddler play space; Puzzle racks, book shelves, toy bins and a parking space for wheels.
