While it feels like it has take FOREVER, Spring is finally here! I am so excited for sandels, shorts, family hikes, picnics and pool days. Before I can enjoy all of those amazing things there are a few things I need to get done around the house so I will stop thinking about them and enjoy time with my family instead. A few months ago I read a great book. It was all about simplifying my life so that I could enjoy more of what was truly important to me. We spend 5 mintutes each evening doing a clean up of our main living areas and kitchen. Its wonderful to wake up to a clean kitchen in the morning. On Sunday afternoons we spend a bit more time and do a more in depth cleaning of the house, usually mowing the lawn and a few outside tasks as well.
