My favorite Birthday memory is when I was 8 years old and I got a Barbie with all her clothes in a big fancy package. I loved that birthday present and played with this doll for years!
My favorite birthday was my 30th. I had great friends in town and we stayed up almost all night. So fun!

On my 8th birthday I woke up early to find two things I still have to this day: a beautiful gold puffed heart pendant, with scrollwork all over it, and a little sewing kit. That sewing kit spurred me on to learn hand-sewing, machine sewing, embroidery, needlepoint and cross stitch, all of which I still love to do. Mom made my favorite breakfast, and Dad, my favorite dinner. All in all, a great day!
