As a mom of a 2 year old boy there are a few things I an a self proclaimed expert on; mud pies, the wheels on the bus and everything related to monster trucks. A few months back The Mister sent me a text and asked if we should buy tickets to a local monster truck event? I didn’t even know these still existed! Fast forward a few months down the road and I have been to several Monster Truck live events, regularly play monster trucks and step over monster trucks all day long. Not to mention watching monster trucks. One of our favorites is Nick JR’s Blaze and the Monster Machines. I was thrilled when I received an invite to attend The Ultimate Mega Play Date with Mom.me and Nick JR’s featuring Shimmer and Shine and Blaze and the Monster Machines at our local children’s museum The Thinkery.
We played with tons of Blaze and the Monster Machine toys, JDub hoarded as many as he could and was not too big on sharing. After I lured him away from the Blaze and the Monster Machines Flip and Race Speedway Play set where he was launching trucks around the track We painted a wooden car that he is very proud of.
We enjoyed pizza with friends and then indulged in the Shimmer and Shine Cupcake bar! Cupcakes made to your specifications that were delicious! The chocolate frosting was amazing and sprinkles make everything even better.
We were thrilled to be treated and got to take home a Fisher-Price Nickelodeon Blaze And The Monster Machines Transforming Remote control truck, Fisher-Price Shimmer and Shine Magic Flying Carpet, Nickelodeon Shimmer and Shine Book Block and DVD. We are loving everything and are so glad we got invited!
