B is for Bloggers, Babies, Books & Brunch: A baby shower

  Last week I got to celebrate Baby D at my first baby shower.  Even better was getting to share the day with two wonderful blogger friends that are also expecting babies in 2014.  Jenn, Jamie and I held a small brunch for some of our awesome Austin area blogger friends. We have a great group of ladies and it was so fun to celebrate with them. We went with a fun story book theme, our menu consisted of all story book related foods. Green Eggs and Ham of course had Green Deviled Eggs, Hungry Caterpillar was right there with the fruit skewers. You get the idea, it was an adorable baby shower.

The lovely Lindi for Love the Day designed this adorable party printable just for us {I think it’s available in her shop now}. Complete with a story book quiz to test your children’s literature knowledge, careful it’s harder than it looks! She’s going to be giving away the Quiz design on Jamie’s blog on December 20th.  She did such an amazing job with them, Thank you Lindi!

It was wonderful to sit with friends and get great baby advice. Everything from what to pack in the hospital bag to what we really need to have ready at home.
