Boys Fall Capsule Wardrobe

This post may contain affiliate links.

When we first found out we were expecting a boy, I loved to shop for adorable outfits. I still do, but it can easily get out of hand. That’s why this month I decided that I was going to make JDub a Fall capsule wardrobe. I’m sure you’ve see it mentioned before. The concept is to pick a few pieces that interchange well and minimize the amount of clothing owned without limiting the outfit potential significantly. We are at a size now (18 month) that will most likely take us into Winter with cooler temps outside and I believe all of these looks will carry over great. My favorite places to shop for him are Target, Crazy 8 and Carters.

I picked 16 items including socks and shoes. We are still in diapers, so underwear wasn’t needed. We actually just changed diaper types and I am loving them. We have always used Pampers Swaddlers and I loved the way they fit and the color changing line wet indicator was perfect for new parents. Now that JDub is moving, EVERYWHERE and climbing on EVERYTHING we needed a diaper that would move great with him. We made the switch to Pampers Cruisers and they are perfect. They also eliminate the saggy booty that can happen as kids get into larger diaper sizes. We don’t want to see saggy booty with this adorable new outfits from our capsule wardrobe.

Brilliant! I have been trying to work out a capsule for my own wardrobe, but this is the best way to begin!

Cute wardrobe! We’ve been using Honest Co diapers for the last couple years, but I recently tried Seventh Generation, and, although the color is awful, I like the fit better.

Thanks for the great ideas! I have a 7 month old boy, and I have a hard time figuring out what to dress him in. It isn’t as easy as picking clothes for my daughter ๐Ÿ™‚ We love Pampers, too! Only diapers we use. Thanks for linking up to This is How We Roll linky party!ย
