Did you catch our big news last week? If not go read it and then come back! Okay you’re back and this is all going to make way more sense now. Minivans, we are thinking about purchasing a mini van. As our family is growing and our cars are aging we are starting to consider what is next for us. Ours cars are currently 11 and 13 years old. They are amazing and run great but we know the day is coming when we need to replace one or both of them so we’ve started considering how this is going to go. I have a check list in my head…
2 adults
2 car seats
Double jogging stroller
Groceries
Various totes and bags
… and everything else that will have to fit.
Then I start to think about all the things that I would love to have in my next car. Things like awesome stereo and sun roof use to be on that list and now I lean towards things like tons of cup holders, sliding doors and things like mpg and cargo space. This all adds up to scream, JUST BUY THE MINIVAN!
So now it’s time to get out there and test drive a million of them and see which ones have the best leg room aka harder for little people to kick the back of my seat. If I might still squeeze in a sunroof so that I feel like I semi kept my cool mom status intact. But cup holders galore and sliding doors are in my future pretty sure.
The one thing I am not stressing about on this big and could be stressful purchase is HOW and WHERE we buy the next vehicle. We’ll use a Capital One Auto Navigator to tale the hassle out of this! Once we decide on a car all I have to do is plug all of the info in such as make, model, year, mpg, price and even color. Then I can add the distance from my house and search! Their site will show me everything that is available and if you aren’t already sold on a make and model you can leave that part blank and see all of the options you have with your other criteria.
After I have found the one that I love I can use the Capital One Auto Navigator to “test drive” your next car. You can adjust the different term length of the loan, price and the vehicle you are looking at.
Did you ever think you would be a minivan driver?
What is your dream car the navigator can help you find?
