If you are anything like me your phone screen is littered with apps. Everything from the news, to 5 camera apps and something for your favorite coffee shop or store. If you have children then you probably have a folder organized with apps that they are allowed to play with, games, movies and such. Last week I downloaded a new app to add to the kids folder on my phone, One Present Please. A fun kid focused app that ties in the idea of gift giving at Christmas with fun games and activities.
Geared towards the 4-8 age group, its a little hard for JDub to navigate solo, which makes it more fun for me because he has to play along with me instead of by himself. Follow along or read the story at your own pace and then move on to a fun search game where you will look for hidden objects in the picture.
After you’ve solved the 3 clues and found the objects you will move on to a new game, such as classic memory, coloring page, or follow along on the keyboard to produce a Christmas song. After you finish the game the character will unwrap a present and you can interact with him while he plays with it. A great app to keep kids minds engaged while staying in the spirit of Christmas.
Download it in the App store by searching One Present.
