Disney has been on my mind lately. I’ve been pinning all kinds of amazing info about how to make a future trips to Disneyland(world) more fun, make meals more cost effective, longer and overall the greatest. A few of my favorite tips so far are to buy souvenirs ahead of time so you can avoid the high prices of the parks and to get crafty and make your own Disney character autograph book! I decided that I wanted to use this same concept and make a cute notebook to take with me while I attended a Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. I was thrilled that Disney SMMC was hosting an OTR (on the road) event here in Austin. I was even more thrilled the day that pixie dust landed in my inbox with an invite to attend. If you are a true Disney fan like myself you know the importance of all things Disney when you attend anything Disney themed.
That’s me and Holly from 504 Main sporting our Disney Side!

To make you Disney character autograph book, journal or even a food passport you are going to need to pick up the following supplies. Moleskin notebooks (often sold in packs of 3, in which case you can make a separate notebook for each of the above). Fun Disney washi tape of your choosing, I’m a Mickey Mouse fan personally so I went with traditional Mickey colors.
I laid my washi tapes out in a pattern that I liked and started to adhere to the surface of the notebook. One of my favorite things about these notebooks is that you can purchase then with or without lined pages. I prefer the unlined, perfect for character autographs.
Once you have covered the outside surface of your notebook, take small scissors and trim off any excess tape.
You can add additional scrap booking embellishments if you’d like, but I love that there is nothing to snag or rip off while being pulled in and out of a bag.

I love the tape decor and so do the high school kids. My granddaughters decorate their folders and love it. Thank you for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop

We just went for our first trip ever. I need to print some of the photos to stick in the photo book next to the character autographs that we got.
I would love to go back and only do Magic Kingdom. We didn’t get to see anywhere near as much as I wanted to.

That is super cute! I haven’t ever made an autograph book, it would be a good “getting ready for Disney” craft for the kids to get them excited! Thank you so much for linking up at the Magical Monday Blog Hop, hope to see you again 🙂
