DIY Housewarming Gift

This post may contain affiliate links.

We moved into our cute little townhouse 2 years ago this week. Our neighborhood is awesome, we know our neighbors and everyone really gets along well with each other. It makes me a little sad when I see a FOR SALE sign pop up in a yard. The up side to losing a neighbor is the chance of meeting another great new neighbor. We have 3 houses on our street that have sold in the past month. I remember the day we moved in a sweet man from down the street came over and introduced himself, he left me with a yummy loaf of homemade bread. I’m no baker, so bread isn’t an option. I figured I would roam my pinterest board for a great diy housewarming gift I could make for the new neighbors.

I picked up everything at my local target with the exception of the cupcake liners and paper straws. I keep a small stash of these goodies on hand to add a little something to gifts.

Quick grocery store check list, cupcake liners, paper straws, dish towel by Threshold, dish spounge and Mrs. Meyer’s Lemon Hand Soap.

What a thoughtful and sweet home-warming gift. I like the idea of keeping fun cupcake liners and paper straws on hand for random gifts. Good to be prepared!
