The Academy Awards are always fun to watch on tv. What’s even better is to have your own party to watch the big awards show. Invite your friends over, dress up, serve delicious food, vote on the winners and of course make sure that everyone goes home with some killer SWAG.

To make your Oscar Party Swag Bags complete with a DIY Oscar award you will need the following:

White tote bags

Gold Iron On transfer

Confetti Push Pops

Mini Champagnes or Bottle of Champagne Jelly Beans

Giant Diamond Rings

Black and White Striped Ribbon

Glassine Paper Bags

White Shimmer Sixlets

Gold Washi Tape

Using a simple star template trace 2 medium stars on to the gold iron on paper and trim out. Apply to white tote per instructions on packaging. That is the hard part! Now all you have to do is fill that bag full of fun glamorous treats that your guests will love! We made sure there was a sweet treat, sixlets inside a small glassine bag closed with washi tape is perfect. A little bubbly because this is a celebration, we found this cute mini bottle at World Market! If you prefer a non-alcoholic option try these tasty champagne jelly beans. Confetti for when your favorites win and a big blingy ring for fun!

We want all of our guests to be winners, which means they will all need an Oscar of their own. To make a DIY Oscar Award you will need the following:

Ken doll

Round wood plaquet

Black paint

Sponge brush

Gold spray paint

E6000 glue

Spray paint the Ken doll front and back with gold spray paint. Allow to dry completely. Paint your wooden plaquet with black paint and allow to dry completely. Once eveything is dried, attach the Ken doll to the plaquet using the E6000 glue. Allow to dry and then include in Oscar Party Swag Bags.
