I’m not beauty girl by far, but there are a few products that I love to pamper myself with. Nothing feels more refreshing that a nice hot soak in the bath tub followed by an yummy exfoliant with your favorite scrub. I know that most people are partial to either a sugar scrub or a salt scrub. That’s why I’ll be sharing both soon. I personally love sugar scrubs. When one of my favorite Etsy shops closed I took it as a sign that maybe I should make my own. This simple diy vanilla sugar scrub recipe not only feels good, it smells good and would probably taste yummy too.

Here is what you’ll need:
Cute glass jar to package your scrub in

I love a good sugar scrub. This is going to be a good one to try I have made a lemon citrus scrub and that was yummy smelling. But, vanilla is one of my favorite scents. Thanks for sharing this diy at the party!!
This sounds wonderful! I love making my own essential oil scrubs, but I love the scent of vanilla, so I’ll have to give this a try. Thanks for sharing at Snickerdoodle! ๐

How much does the receipe make? and how long does the scrub stay good?.
thanks
Danelle
The recipe made 4 small glass jars full. I gifted it friends and it stays moist for about 2 months.
I made this and have been using it for a few weeks. I LOVE IT! it works and smells so great!
The only thing I did differently when making this, is that I melted the coconut oil (using double broiler) and mixed that into the other ingredients. It mixes much better.
Thanks again! ๐
is this a face or body scrub?
I use it for body, however none of the ingredients will harm your face.
IS IT A TEASPOON OF VANILLA OR A TABLESPOON? THANKS SUSAN
1 tablespoon. Enjoy!
Thanks for sharing on craft schooling Sunday, I think a salt scrub is definately for me, as the sugar would make me feel like I’m smearing dessert all over myself! It is truly a wonderful feeling to make things yourself, so good for you!
I don’t happen to have any white sugar on hand… would it be ok if I used all brown sugar?
