I am ready to start holiday crafting! Crafting for the everyday is lots of fun, but I especially enjoy this time of year. Next week I am holding a crafting class at a local store and I can’t wait to make those adorable Thanksgiving centerpieces with the kiddos. At my house I am all ready for the Winter wonderland look. The weather in Texas is a little unpredictable, just when you think we’ve finally moved into cooler temps a nice warm day comes along and everyone is looking for their shorts again.
I wanted to brighten up on pictures that were around the house with a little holiday cheer. I’m not a traditionalist with the holidays, using a lot of red and green. I like the more winter feel (so I can leave it out longer) of white, silver, blue and the occasional pink pink or purple even. I’m in luck that everything I needed for my Winter wonderland picture frames was available at Wal-mart. I found this crafter friendly photo frames, that are all ready for a make over with the crafting supplies of choice. I chose to work with Scotch® Expressions Tape to create my DIY photo frame.
Scotch® Expressions Tape has a huge variety and you could make almost anything with it plus it’s a perfect combination of versatility, function & fun. With Scotch® Expressions Tapes I am able to turn everyday projects into beautiful creations. Surely a DIY photoframe for whatever your occassion. Since we are working on making my space more Winter Wonderland like, I chose the glitter tapes in a variety of colors.
Decide what design you want for your DIY photo frame. You can use the tape as it is and apply it at different angles or grab a pair of scrap booking scissors to give your tape a patterned edge. No matter which one you chose your frame is going to look amazing and is perfect for a family photo.
To make my frame easy to put any where I used the Scotch® Expressions double sided removeable tape. I simple applied it to the back of the frame and then firmly pressed the frame onto the bookshelf I was wanting to attach it to.
I found everything I needed for this fun project at Wal-mart in the crafting and packing aisle.
What would you decorate with Scotch® Expressions Tape?
