Cards a big deal for me. I’m not a quick to select and head to the check out. I spend time reading dozens of cards before I decide on one or 2 that are perfect for the occasion and contains words that could have come straight from my heart. This has gotten a little more challenging now a toddler in tow. I usually hand him a toy to play with while I scan the card wall and pick out a few to read through. While shopping for The Mister’s birthday last week. I came across Hallmarks® musical greeting cards, not only where they’re tons to choose from but the song selection was awesome! I picked up a few while I was there. One for The Mister and one for another friend that has a birthday coming up.
As adults I’ve found that I don’t really exchange gifts for holidays with my friends. With that being said it’s always nice to do something special for someone on their birthday or even just because. I baked up some delicious homemade from frozen dough cookies, yum, and got to work. I made the cookies small enough that they would fit inside this cute mason jar style drinking glass and filled it with the cookies. This fun glass fun of chocolate chip cookies and the fun musical greeting card were the perfect treat to celebrate!
I think I am going to start buying musical cards with all of my gifts. They even had a fun variety of Star Wars and Superheros that I know my nephews would love!
