Easy DIY Caramel Apple Gift
I’m starting to feel confident that my son’s teachers think I’m “that mom” and maybe I am. What I can tell you is when I come up with a cute idea and clearly it’s my job, I have to have someone to give it to. This is where the teachers come in, I make two of each project and send them to school in my son’s backpack. Hopefully they don’t think I am trying to make up for some bad behavior they haven’t witnessed yet.
This week I am making these adorable and super easy DIY Caramel Apple gifts complete with a free printable tag (see below). Since y’all is an everyday word in my Southern vocabulary I figured it was perfect to add onto this adorable seasonal tag.
These easy DIY caramel apple gifts can be put together in just a few minutes with a few simple ingredients. Here is what you will need to gather to get to work.
Large apples (make sure they have a stem that can be used for dipping)
Ball canning wide mouth half pint jars
Happy Fall Y’all FREE printable tag (below)
I filled about 1/3 of the car with mini chocolate chips which gave me enough room to add in a layer of caramel squares.
Once your jar is full you can close it up and close tight for freshness. Print and cut your Happy Fall Y’all tag and twine.
I wrapped my twine around the jar and apple just as I would a box, tying it at the top and adding the tag.
Perfect for teachers, neighborhood kids or even party favors for a fall luncheon.
