Making a Family Calendar

Decorating has never been the easiest thing for me. I tend to find a theme and I stick to it, I find a color pallet and every room in my house is done in it. To say the least, I love coral, teal and grey. My kitchen is the only room that I’ve gone off the norm with and embraced a little fun. I love the bright pops of green and blacks that I’ve placed on top of my cabinets. Something is still missing, its the walls. We’ve lived in our house for 5 years and we’ve never hung a single picture on the walls. Well I’ve figured out a solution, Fathead Wall Decals.

Making an Easy Family Calendar // Life Anchored ad

There are hundreds to choose from and they are super simple to use! I decided that I would dress up my walls and at the same time organize my family a little better. We’ve been needing a big family calendar for a long time! I tried a paper one on the fridge but it was too big. I need enough space to keep up with 3 busy schedules but still be cute. So I picked out this awesome chalkboard monthly calendar. I’m using washable chalk pens with it to make changes easy. To add a little flare to the wall, I also ordered an adorable custom monogram to place above it. (I have to wait for The Mister to help me with the monogram, I’m not tall enough). What I love about these products is that they are easy to remove and reposition without hurting the paint on my walls!

I picked up a few more organizational clings while I was at it. This cute weekly calendar for my office. I can keep up with scheduled conference calls, deadlines and upcoming events. Plus these awesome kitchen cheat sheets that I am going to be using in a craft soon. What I love about this product is it’s as easy as 3 steps; Pick it out, wait for it to arrive and stick it on the wall!! #PeelStickDone

That family calendar is a great idea. We have a google calendar online, but this one on the wall is way better, especially in the hallway where everyone can see it.
