This Summer John is in the Advance Beginner class as Emler Swim School. If you are new around here let me catch you up a bit. We have been swimming with Emler Swim Schools since John was 3 months old in their Bathtime Babies class. Throw back to cure baby pic!
Seriously that is one of my all time favorite pictures from swim school. He is so stinking cute and he wants those ducks so bad. So fast forward 4 YEARS!!! We are still faithfully here every week, almost every week and still loving the advancement we see in his swim skills.
At the Advance Beginner level the goal is to teach children to swim 15-20 feet while improving independent front breath and introducing rollover breaths. They will learn foundational skills of floating, gliding, stroking and kicking taught by utilizing drill formats. He LOVES it!
This is my more recent side of the pool pictures I captured last week. He thinks goggles are the best thing since sliced bread.
I’m really enjoying seeing his progress each week and his love for swimming continue to grow. As we get ready for our family vacation I know we will be spending a lot of time in the water and he is going to have a blast showing off everything he has been learning this summer.
