Emler Swim School: A Year in Pictures

This post may contain affiliate links.

This is a sponsored conversation with Emler Swim School. All opinions are my own and JDub’s of course.

Our family loves being outside adventuring. We love Summer days swimming and hiking and riding our bikes. Of all the activites we do, swimming is by far the family favorite. When JDub was only 3 months old we started swim class at our local Emler Swim School. The first semester we worked on acclamating to the water, and he loved it! Now he is kicking, putting his face in the water, holding his breath and jumping in the pool! I can hardly believe the difference.

Take a peek at these adorable pictures from the last year and a half of swim lessons. JDub can now hold his breath for 10 seconds, loves to leap into the pool and loves climbing in and out of the pool by himself!

This one really gets me, he loves when they sing the Bye-Bye song. It amazes me to rememeber helping him prop up on his little elbows to just last week when he wanted to stand on the mat while we turned it and sang to him!

In India, coaches don’t even look at your child till they turn 5 years old! I guess they are paranoid of drowning! So finally in Chile I put my 4 year old for a month long swim classes. He hasn’t yet learnt, but is getting there (I thought it takes only a week or so to learn- I guess I was wrong!). Anyways, I’ll be reading your posts in details since I need to know more.

Would love to see your posts in the Practical Mondays Link Up! Pls do come 🙂

My son, now 23, started swimming when he was an infant. Back then everyone thought I was nuts. By the time he was preteen, he was swimming across our lake just for fun…

    Great post!!
