Family Night at Chick-fil-A & A New Treat

This post may contain affiliate links.

This post is sponsored by my local Chick-fil-A, however all opinions are my own and Baby D’s.

We usually eat dinner at home as a family. On the occasional night that The Mister is working I go the easy route and  just have cereal. Lunch time is another story, Baby D and I are usually out and about. Lunch on the go is the easiest option. Now that Baby D is eating solids it makes eating out a lot easier. I don’t have to make sure and pack a spoon and baby food. I can order him a kids meal and he’s a happy guy. Yes, he gets his own meal, otherwise he eats half of mine and I’m still hungry.

Chick-fil-A Kids Meal

Probably no surprise here, but Chick-fil-A is our usual go to place. I love the food and I never feel guilty about eating out. Fun story, I actually worked at Chick-fil-A as my first job when I was a teenager. Even after years of eating chicken daily and occasionally coming home smelling like it. I still LOVE it. I think that says something about how yummy their food is. I do miss their lemon meringue pie though (maybe I should petition to bring it back).  Speaking of lemon, their lemonade is my favorite. Last week Baby D and I went to “Family Night” at our usual location and learned how to make that delicious lemonade. I bought a new citrus juicer on Amazon the other day and I might have to try making it at home. The look on little guy’s face at his first taste was priceless, I wish I had been able to snap a picture.

Chick-fil-A Family Night Little Squeezers

Our favorite location (South Mopac or Ben White in Austin) have Family Night at Chick-fil-A every Tuesday with free activities for the kids. We had to choose between the Easter EGGstravaganza at one location and Little Squeezers Lemonade making at another. I selfishly chose the lemonade.

They just introduced their newest dessert, which I am completely hooked on. FROSTED LEMONADE, yes they mixed lemonade and their Icedream. I’m going to warn you, you will be hooked. Oh! and if you’re a Chick-fil-a junkie enthusiast like me, you have a calendar card (I have 2) from Christmas time and it just happens to be their April Mystery offer.
