Putting Together A Perfect Guest Basket

Putting Together A Perfect Guest Basket // Life Anchored

I finally had company, you know the kind that isn’t your parents or siblings. The kind that you get to clean your house for and make it look all cute. My sweet friend Aimee from Small Anchors came all the way from New York to spend a long weekend with me. We shopped all over, bought her some really cowboy boots and had a little business pow wow too.  Such a fun weekend with a great friend. If you’ve been reading the blog for awhile now you know that I went to see Aimee last Summer when she was still living in sunny San Diego. She had the most adorable welcome guest basket for me when I arrived. I couldn’t wait to make up my own guest basket for her trip to Texas!

I filled the basket with a ton of my favorite things and a few must haves.

A sweet mason jar glass with daisy cut lid

Fun paper straws

Bottled water

Health snacks in hand stamped muslin bags

Reading materials

A few beauty products

Mini journal and pen

Candle to take home with her

I even picked up her favorite See’s Candies since I was just at their Grand Opening event a few days before.

You are the second person this week I’ve seen blog about guest baskets for company. I wish someone would come visit me so I could make one too! I only remember visiting one person who ever created one for me and I remember it had one of those cooling soothing sleep masks in it and a bottle of Tylenol. LOL. She knew it was going to be a party weekend and those were great for those hangover mornings. 🙂

I always try to include some favorite snacks and bottles of water – for those guests who get hungry late at night after the house is quiet, and don’t want to raid your kitchen LOL Thanks so much for taking the time to link up over at the #HomeMattersParty – we hope to see you again this Friday! Feel free to bring a friend 🙂
