This is a sponsored partnership with Crazy 8, all opinions are my own.
JDub has reached an age where he is starting to care about what he wears. Up until about 3 months ago he was happy to run around all day in socks and nothing else. After all Summers in Texas are hot so for a kid this isn’t a terrible plan. Once we were getting ready for school to start and I started to ask him his opinion on the clothing I was buying him, suddenly he started to care a LOT more. All of the sudden he had strong feelings about which shirt he is going to wear and which pants are his favorite. He’s all but given up on all of his shoes except for one pair. This is why Crazy 8 is one of my favorite places to shop for kids clothing. It’s near impossible for me to find something I don’t love so he can pretty much pick whatever he wants and we’re both happy. It’s just starting to get cool here in Texas so it was time to pick out some colder weather essentials but I also wanted outfits that would be appropriate for the many fun holiday events that we have coming up. That’s another great thing about Crazy 8 clothings, its awesome for mixing and matching pieces.
So this is what JDub picked out for his new outfit. He chose the pull up jeans and I made sure to choose the ones that are lined so that they are a little warmer when the cold weather rolls in. We matched it with a striped longsleeve henley in Navy and of course all the cool kids are wearing these sherpa puffer vests. The kid loves hats so the marled beanie and color block shades were musts. This kid owns more sunglasses than I do! These Herringbone High Top sneakers are easy for him to put on since they are velcro but seriously they are the only shoes he will wear currently.
When JDub was little I would coordinate our clothes and it was fun, since he is no longer interested in this I’ve turned to Baby Mary. Since she really doesn’t have much of an opinion on what she wears it’s game on to play the matchy game again. Let me just tell you the little girl clothes out there are not what we wore as children of the 80’s. To slinky track suits and crazy neons. Girls clothes now are precious, ruffles and bows and oh I’m loving it.
For Mary I snagged the most adorble black and white striped tee with tulle at the cuffs! Paired it with grey washed skinny jeans and this fun fuzzy zip hoodie for when we are out in the evenings. Of course she needs amazing accessories too, so she sporting ankles boots (seriously can I get these in my size?!?) and Tortoiseshell Sunglasses along with a rhinestone headband to complete her look.
We can’t wait to get out there and have fun this holiday season, check out Crazy 8 and let me know what your favorite pieces are.
