Homemade Bath Salts with Essential Oils // Life Anchored

Last month I made a new discovery, Instacart. I may never go to the grocery store again. I get to spend about 15 minutes a week ordering my groceries online and then, BAM! They show up on my door step as soon as 1 hour later. Go ahead and click on that link up there. You won’t be sorry and you’ll get free delivery on your first order as well as $10 credit. Go ahead click it and then come back………

Now that you’re back, I’ll get to the point. Ordering my groceries has helped me pretty much remove all impulse shopping from the grocery store! My big splurge each week was on bath salts. I LOVE to take a steaming hot bath after everyone has gone to bed for the night and I can de-stress.

Now I’m busting out my Young Living essential oils and making some homemade bath salts for a fraction of the cost!

Homemade Bath Salts with essential oils with just 3 household ingredients.

Here is what you’ll need:

Cute glass jar to package your scrub in

2 c.  Epson salt

1 tbsp. baking soda

1/4 Himalayan Pink Sea Salt

8-10 drops of Frankincense Young Living Oils

8-10 drops of Myrrh Young Living Oils

These oils are just my favorite combo right now. You can use whichever you prefer and make up some beautifully smelling blends. I’ve got a few more that I’m working on as well.

Mix it all together and seal up in your jars. I’ll let you know in advance. After you’ve had it sealed in the jar a while the scent will be stronger than when you are mixing it. Just don’t panic if you can barely smell it while making it.

Do you use essential oils? Which is your favorite?

We love Epsom salts at our house (I buy them by the case!) and I enjoy adding different essential oils for the boosted benefits. I haven’t tried Himalayan Sea Salt in them yet, now I have something new to try! Thanks for sharing!
