Pumpkin! Pumpkin! Pumpkin! Yes, It’s Pumpkin Spice everything season. I even saw a sign that said that this morning and was tempted to buy it. The Mister doesn’t get my love for pumpkin, but does that really matter? Our morning are busy and sometimes it so nice to just be at home and relax. Some days I love to mix up a delicious hot drink and watch the little man play. A nice hot homemade pumpkin spice latte for the win.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of strong coffee (or espresso shot)
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 Tbsp pumpkin puree (canned is ok)
- 1 Tbsp of sugar (or sweeten to your liking)
- 1 Tbsp of pumpkin spice mix (I get mine from Trader Joe's)
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- whipped cream (optional) ... I like to froth 1/4 cup of hot milk instead.
Instructions
- This can be made either in the microwave or stove top. I used the microwave.
- Heat the milk, pumpkin and sugar until very hot. Don't allow it to boil. Add the pumpkin spice, vanilla and the coffee. Stir and pour into a large mug.
- Heat 1/4 cup of milk. Froth and scoop it over the hot coffee mixture. Sprinkle some extra pumpkin spice or cinnamon over the froth. Or use whipped cream.
