When you live in a small neighborhood you tend to know all of your neighbors. Lately we’ve had a few homes sell and have had to say goodbye to friends. The good news is that there have been new friends to make, new faces at the mail box and new dogs out for evening strolls. I love to back delicious homemade Banana Bread for new friends. These days there are so many special diets and food allergies that some times homemade baked goodies aren’t the best idea.
Last week I made essential oil candles in tiny vintage tart tins that I’d picked up while thrifting. They came out so perfectly. Then I was shopping at my happy place and low and behold Pyrex is celebrating it’s 100th birthday and there were adorable must have special pieces. I picked up this cute all white measuring cup along with a few other goodies.
I spotted these hilarious embroidered tea towels on a local Etsy shop, Dilly Dally Boutique and had to get my hands on them. Not sure that you’d want to actually use them and risk getting them messy.
