This isn’t a miracle answer or even a quick fix. There is no magic drug or piece of exercise equipment that will help you loose all the weight in X amount of weeks. It’s just what worked for me to help me loose the baby weight. I lost the majority of my “baby weight” within the first 6 months. Breastfeeding was a big factor and the fact that I ate well and exercised during my entire pregnancy.
I gained a total of 55 lbs during my pregnancy, can you say cankles?! My biggest cravings, turkey sandwiches and granny smith apples. I could eat nothing but this all day. After my little guy arrived I wanted to keep making good food choices, because no matter how hard you exercise, food is a huge factor on healthy living and weight lose.
Walking has been amazing for work outs with the little man, we love our jogging stroller and it allows us to get in a little exploring by taking the off the beaten path trails. We also spend a lot of time hiking as a family. Nothing helps you burn a few extra calories like carrying a toddler on your back in a baby hiking pack.
Other things I love that help me get my work out on and made it possible to drop the pounds. Delicious snacks that are easy to take with me anywhere. I’m never skipping a meal again. We pack Zone Simply Perfect bars for all our adventures.
To log my workouts I use the Nike Run app. It’s awesome because The Mister has it too and we have our profiles linked and can see each other. There is even a Challenge option were we can race to a certain distance in X amount of days. Currently we’re working on 40 miles for the month of September!
