How to Plan the Best 4th of July Ever
I think the 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. I love to watch the fireworks, I love to spend time with family and friends and there is just something about it being a Summer holiday that screams, barbeque and spending the day on the water. Which is exactly what we plan on doing! I figured I would share all of the fun ways that I love to get ready to spend this day.
First step for me is to make sure that everyone is wearing outfits that are sporting a little Red White and Blue Patriotic coloring. When John was younger I made the cutest footprint flag shirt with him and he looked adorable in it! This year I went the easier route and picked up cute outfits at Target.
Aside from cute outfits there has to be awesome food. I love to cook out but I also have a few favorite barbeque locally and that is always a win in my book. But if you are headed to a friends or having them over. This adorable Red White and Blue fruit tray needs to be out on your table.
Now what to do, what to do. Like I mentioned we have really loved spending our weekends on the lake this Summer. We’ve fell in love with boating last Summer and have already been out several times this season. You are probably thinking, I don’t remember her saying they bought a boat. Well, we didn’t, there are some expenses that come with owning a boat that we just aren’t ready to manage, mainly storing it. Sadly our neighborhood doesn’t allow you to have a boat on your property so thats a no go for us right now. BUT we LOVE boating! So the question is how are we doing it!
