Fall in Texas means a lot of things, we survived Summer for one. Also you can start wear jeans, closed toed shoes and of course go back to drinking hot coffee. Okay seriously those are the big things I get excited about but it also means Fall sports, like football and soccer.
Those are great activities, get the kids outdoors and running, burning off some energy for sure. But as the weather turns colder these activities end and no one wants to be outside much, Texas people aren’t big on cold, that’s why we live here people.
One of the ways we keep busy during the cooler months (actually year round) is swim lessons at Emler Swim School. They offer classes starting as young as 2 months old, we started with John when he was 3 months old the week I found out about them! Not only is the end of soccer season a great time to sign up for lessons, but it’s a great Christmas gift from grandparents too! Since everyone is always asking you what the kids need, and if you’re anything like me they need less toys.
So this year as things are wrapping up, think about spending those cold months inside the nice heated swimming pool and having the kids learn a skill they need and will use for life! Bonus the teachers at Emler are super fun and will make your kids love learning to swim.
Mention you heard about Emler Swim School from Life Anchored blog and receive one pair of Iplay swim pants for free when you sign up for any of their classes. All classes eligible including the FREE Bathtime Babies class!
