We made a big purchase this week. We bought the baby a convertible car seat for The Misters car. We had a minor emergency a while back while I was at work. the Mister was home with the kids and we didn’t have a second car seat in his car. I had to leave work and go home to be with the kids so he could go to my office and have sutures put in a laceration on his hand.
Since this is a decision that effects our child’s safety we put a lot of thought into it. We of course want a car seat that we are confident in, but we also look at favorites like quality and affordability.
I decided on the Graco 4Ever convertible car seat. Being the frugal gal I am, I searched the web for the best deal and as expected Walmart had the best prices and I used their in store pick up to have my order ready and waiting for me when I got there.
The seat was super easy to install using the LATCH system. Since baby sister is so young she is still rear facing, which is the law in Texas for her age. The Graco 4Ever car seat is easy to adjust and has various settings for rear and forward facing. Big brother was a little jealous that he seat has two cup holders!
