Kid Lit Weekly Library Picks

Our family has always loved reading. We have bookshelves packed full of every kind of book you’d imagine. I grew up in a house full of readers and I am happy to be raising readers myself. There comes a point though when the shelves are filled and a mom has to say it, “we can not buy anymore books!” I’m at that place. The solution, we make weekly trips to the library and we fill our bag (like really fill it) and have a week worth of awesome new books to enjoy together. Frequently I use our library trip to find books that we will use during our weeks school lessons. We also pack in a ton of just for fun reads. I pull a lot of our Kid Lit Weekly Library Picks from the Texas 2×2 list. Don’t forget my sweet friend PicturebookPlaydate who is always sharing great finds.
