Letting the Cat out of the Bag

I’ve been a bit absent lately. My last blog post was  2 weeks ago, almost a month ago. Twitter has seen better days and Facbook, well facebook doesn’t even know I exist anymore. I’m tired, I go to work then come home and try to keep my eyes open long enough to get some sewing accomplished or enjoy dinner with The Mister.  Not much is helping. I figured it was time to finally let the world in on whats happening, We’re having a BABY!!

Yes, you read that right, a baby. After 10 years together, 4 years of marriage, 2 cross country moves, 6 addresses and 1.5 college degrees (The Mister will finish Grad School in August 2014 for the other .5) we decided its was time to grow our family. We are thrilled to announce that Baby D will be here around the end of May 2014. Grandparents are overjoyed, cousins will soon have a new playmate and mommy and daddy are still trying to wrap their heads around the whole thing.

Here’s a little peek at Baby D at our 12 week ultrasound. Its amazing to know that tiny hands and feet are in there and this sweet picture is our little one.
