I don’t know about you, but I LOVE hearing about good stories in the news. Because I love good news so much, I’ve made an effort to actually help make the world a friendlier place. Sometimes, trying to help make the world a friendlier place isn’t easy. However, thanks to a little inspiration from my kids, I have a few good ideas.
#1. Smile at someone
I know this is super simple, but it makes the most sense. The other day, this woman smiled at me so kindly. I was “WOWED” that someone took a second out of their day to send me a warm smile. It’s amazing how a simple smile can make the world such a friendlier place.
#2. Random act of kindness
This is my favorite and my kids’ favorite as well. Doing a random act of kindness has to be one of the best feelings in the world. We try not to let the other person know it was us, although sometimes it’s impossible. Whether it’s going out of our way to help someone or paying for someone’s meal or coffee. A random act of kindness is a simple way to make the world a friendlier place. At Hello Products, they believe in making a positive impact in our community. This year, hello has donated over 50,000 products to Feed The Children to help underprivileged children. We also spend time participating in local charities and helping our friends and neighbors out.
#3. Help someone in need
If you were to look around your community, you probably see a lot of need. Whether a person is homeless, hurting, or just need’s a shoulder to cry on. You can easily make the world a better place by helping someone in need.
#4. Write a letter
I can’t tell you how excited I get when a letter comes in the mail. This is a way I’ve gotten my kids involved as well. Sending nice letters to friends and family helps make the world a friendlier place. With so much hatred and violence in the world, a kind letter can go so far. Not to mention, it brightens our day when someone sends a letter back. Do you remember what it felt like when you were in college and someone sent you a care package? Whether you send a care package to a family in need or even troops overseas, this helps make the world a friendlier place.

I know that I enjoy supporting brands who have the same mission as my family and I. Making the world a friendlier place is a passion of ours.
