My Favorite Things: New Mommy Edition

This post may contain affiliate links.

My favorite things have changed a lot in the past 9 weeks. They’ve gone from adorable summer sandals to the baby mirror that now hangs in the back seat of my car. Last year I hosted a favorite things party with a few of my girlfriends. I handed out cute mason jar glasses with metal lids and colorful paper straws, I think it may be time for another party with my mommy friends to share a few of our favorite things for our littles. Sounds like a great night with girlfriends.

I can not tell you how amazing the Simple Wishes D Lite Hands Free Breastpump Bra is. It’s easy to put on and allows me to be hands free.

Elastic Ribbon Ponytail Holders have become my best friend for the random all top knot kinda days. You can get them in practically any color, I currently have an entire drawer full.

Since I am breast feeding , hydration is extra important. I make sure to always have my Camelbak Eddy Water Bottle full and it fits perfectly into the side pocket of the diaper bag.

Apple iPad, This baby goes everywhere in the house with me. I use it during the night to read while I nurse and during the day it stays in my nursing station (more on that later).

If you are a new mommy what are a few of your new favorite things? For the experienced mommy, what are you’re tried and true items?

That pump/bra is brilliant! Wish they’d had those 9 years ago!
So happy that you’re happy, mama. Are you back at work?

It is truly amazing and saves my back from holding the pump! Back to work on Wednesday!

I so wish I’d had a tablet or even a smartphone when I was nursing. I would have felt so much more connected to the world of adult humans!

It really does help a lot. I usually read a book or surf the web.
