I’m addicted to peanut butter. I could eat it everyday and one of my favorite ways to enjoy it is with bananas! Lucky for me I have passed this love on to my toddler and he to thinks that bananas and peanut butter as a match made in foodie heaven. This week I am excited to share with you our favorite brand of peanut butter, Justin’s. They bring a healthy approach to the delicious spread.
To make peanut butter banana rolls you are going to want to cut the crust off of your slice of bread. Using your rolling pin, or a Topo Chico bottle like at our house, roll out your bread until it’s flat. Spread Justin’s Almond Butter over the bread in a thin layer. We used the Justin’s Honey Almond Butter for this lunch. Next you take your peeled banana and roll it up in the flattened bread. Slice into 1/2″ bite size pieces your little one (and you) will enjoy.
We rounded out this healthy lunch with sliced yellow pair heirloom cherry tomatoes and sliced baby carrots. For a sweet treat bite size pieces of strawberries and a pitted date. My toddler LOVES dates, but make sure you buy the pitted ones to avoid a choking hazard.
Make sure to check out the full line of Justin’s products including their new snack packs that are perfect for on the go!
