Everyone has been busy with activities and back to school that I feel like we are all going in a million different directions. I know I can’t be the only mom out there that is feeling this way! Well I have a great idea that I have to share with you. We’re planning a family night IN! So many times when we think about doing something fun together as a family we envision going out somewhere. Well I’m here to tell you that as a mom of two tiny people sometimes that is more stress than fun. So here is everything you need to plan an amazing family night in!
Planning the Perfect Family Night In: Games
Feel like taking a break from the screens in your house and having some great engagement with your crew? Pick out a variety of games that everyone (all ages) can play and have fun being silly together. Some of our favorites are Candy Land (played with candy of course), Jenga!, Uno (great for those littles that are working on number and color recognition) and of course tons of other kid friendly card games like Old Maid, Go Fish and Crazy 8. You will be in for a night of giggling for sure.
Planning the Perfect Family Night In: Movies
Not feeling in the mood for games? Pick out a family friendly movie that everyone can enjoy and get comfy! We have a few fun movies that are always crowd pleasers, no matter how many times we watch them. Planning your family night in near a holiday- go with something themed for that time of year to get out of the box.
Planning the Perfect Family Night In: Food
While snacks are always a good plan, what about dinner? I don’t know about you but on family night, mom doesn’t get super excited about cooking dinner, and then cleaning up of course. I have just the solution for you! McDelivery, yep you heard that right. Everyone’s favorite McDonald’s now offers delivery through UberEats. Launching on September 19th , Simply download the UberEats app and place your order. You can enjoy your food in the comfort of your home while chilling our and hanging with your family. We made sure to order everyone’s personal favorites as well as those delicious fried apple pies that are a total throw back to childhood. Bonus there is no major clean up or dishes to do.
