Playroom Toddler Art Work

I participated in an Ambassador Activation on behalf of Influence Central for WaterWipes. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

A few months back we changed the nursery around. JDub has reached the Toddler age and I needed to make his space more play friendly. I added a few new toys, a kid sized Teepee and amazing foam floor tiles to make the play area have a unique and separated feel from the rest of the room. You can check out our full Playroom nook makeover for ideas. Once it was finished it was still missing something, it needed a personal touch.

One of these ladies in mom’s group has this amazing cutting machine, she can pretty much craft anything with it. She cut me several of the capital letter J, J for JDub of course.  I knew this was going to be a messy project so we waited until a cool morning and headed outside. Our last paint project worked out really well with him belted into his highchair so I wanted to do that again. He was happy to oblige.

I love my Crayola washable paints, they are perfect for an project involving paint and toddlers. I placed my vinyl J on the canvas I picked out and let JDub pick out his colors.

I threw down our splat mat under the high chair and let the little man figure out this whole paint thing.

It didn’t take but a minute, and a taste to decide that this could be a lot of fun. I really wasn’t sure if he would like the feeling of the paint all overs his hands, but it was no issue for him.

Another reason that I love washable paint, because it will get everywhere for sure and I am totally not stressed about the clean up at all! He had a great time, look at that serious artist face. He is really focused on his masterpiece.

My favorite way to clean up all of the little man’s messes lately have been with WaterWipes. They are 99.9% water and that other 0.1% is fruit extract. No fragrance or chemical free. I tried WaterWipes for the 1st time a few weeks back when JDub had a horrible diaper rash. I’m not sure exactly what happened but that rash snuck up on us real quick. His tush didn’t love our usual wipes and I remembered seeing WaterWipes at the store last time I was on the baby aisle. I knew these were going to be perfect. What mom wouldn’t want to care for her baby with a awesome durable wipe that is chemical free and approved by the National Eczema Association as the only wipe that is completely chemical free!

So not only are they awesome for diaper areas, they are amazing for cleaning up little ones with no harsh chemicals. They cleaned all that paint right up and my guy wasn’t shying away from the typical scent of diaper wipes. He was completely laid back the whole time, even happy!

So why should you try WaterWipes, because they are great at cleaning up any baby mess and chemical free! Want even more information visit WaterWipes site for tons of additional information.

Aweee, I loveee this idea!! I need to have my 7 year and 5 year old do this and then when the twins get a little older and I know they won’t just try to eat the paint, I’ll have them do it too. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for sharing such a fun idea!
