Red White and Blue 4th of July Fruit Platter

This weekend will be filled with fun times, family friends and fireworks! I wanted to put together a simple snack that is perfect to have out at any get together and everyone will love. So stick with a fun patriotic theme of red white and blue I picked up my favorite fruit at the grocery store, along with a little sweet treat. I love the colors in this platter and of course since they are all my favorites I know there will be something I’ll want to snack on. It’s super simple to put together this beautiful fruit platter together to wow your friends and family.

This awesome metal round platter was a Target find and I love it! Since it was last season, you can find yours –> HERE. Grab your favorite red and blue fruits. I went with strawberries and cherries. You could add raspberries or watermelon if you wanted too. Watermelon is always a big hit at our house but it puts off a lot of fluid too. So if you go that route you may want to use a small dish for it.

For the blue center a mix of blueberries and blackberries for texture. I really wanted each area of the platter to have a pop that brought people’s eyes to it.

A small white ramekin is the perfect size for this project. Make your white stripes with yogurt covered pretzels to add a sweet twist to the project.
