Wash your hands, cover your mouth when you cough and brush your teeth. All healthy habits for kids to learn. Brushing teeth is one of those fun habits to teach a little one. Little man now has teeth, 4 to be exact. I feel like I should start brushing them, but the concept is lost on him obviously. He loves my electric tooth brush and thinks its hilarious to be cheek to cheek with me while I brush my teeth. I picked up a inexpensive electric tooth brush on a recent Target trip. It took a while for him to figure out that it goes in his mouth, but now he loves it.
Since he is only 10 months old, we just use water with his toothbrush. Our Pediatrician recommended using water only or tooth paste with no floride until he is old enough to spit it out in the sink. I remember babysitting in high school and helping the littles brush their teeth for bed. There was always a mess of bubble gum pink toothpaste everywhere.
