Texas Independence Day Celebration
With March 2nd just around the corner we had a history lesson in our house today. John learned all about Texas Independence Day and what is stands for and how it came to be. It was fun to discuss it with him and he surprised me with some really great questions about the entire thing. I don’t know about you but as a born and raised Texan, Texas Independence Day calls for a celebration. I’m not exactly sure what ours will consist of, I’m thinking our favorite BBQ and of course some Texas Sheet Cake for dessert. Pair that amazing Texas themed meal up with everyone sporting their favorite Texas shirts and we are ready to celebrate for sure.
