I think it’s safe to say that most moms are on the go a lot. Whether we are running kids places or just running errands, being busy seems to be the norm. I wanted to share some tips for moms who may be on the go.
Make yourself a priority
Just because you’re on the go, it doesn’t mean you cannot be a priority. Wake up early and make sure you have enough time to take care of yourself. There is nothing worse than feeling rushed, which means you probably didn’t get time to shower and all of that fun stuff. Even if you are on the go a lot, make yourself a priority.
Bring something along to the car
How many hours do you just sit in the car waiting? I can’t express how many hours I’m in my car. I have started to bring things to do in the car. Some days I will listen to a favorite podcast and others I’ll work on my to do list and calendar. Whether I’m in the car lane or waiting for a prescription to be filled, multitasking is my friend. I don’t do anything while driving, just to make sure that is clear as day.
Prioritize your time
When you are on the go, you don’t have a lot of time. This is where prioritizing your time comes in handy. I try and hand off some tasks to my husband or ask for help from other family members. I don’t mind being on the go, but I do like keeping my sanity. I learned a long time ago that I wouldn’t be able to everything as a mom.
Don’t sacrifice taste when eating on the go
I’m sick of the drive thru foods and products that just don’t taste good. It’s no secret that when you’re on the go, you are probably eating on the go. I made it a priority to make our food good on the go. One of my favorite foods to bring with me on the go are Fiber One Lemon Bars and Oats & Chocolate bars. These are awesome to stick in your bag and eat when you get hungry. You’ll love these bars because you can grab them on your weekly shopping trips to Costco! Guess what? There is 25% less sugar than before. There are no fake flavors or colors (my favorite part). There is also more fiber in these bars than sugar, so good for you and your body. These are so good that maybe they should have another name.
